Slimeballs are very precious items for many redstone mechanisms, as well as to breed frogs in 1.19. Getting a lot of slime in one game is only achieved with a farm, but it can also be obtained in other much easier ways. Slimeballs drop from Slimes, which are mobs that only appear in two places: In a slime chunk or in the surface of the swamp biome.

The best option for finding slimes is to go to a swamp biome during a full moon. With these two conditions (that it is a swamp biome and the moon is full moon) Slimes will appear on the surface. Kill the Slimes to get slimeballs. A very good idea is to have an enchanted sword with looting III to get more slimeballs.
Trading with a wandering villager for slime balls
The second way is to trade with the wandering villager….. the villager of llamas and rope. This villager can trade us some slimeballs for emeralds….. but the probability of trading slime is low, but still it is an option.
How to find slime chunks without seed?
This is already to make a slime farm and the main way to find a slime chunk (without using things outside the game) is to pick in a layer below layer Y = 40 and three blocks high in several chunks. For example, I like to pick in layer 10 since you can get a good amount of minerals, diamonds and there is little lava.
Then separate the chunks with walls and wait until Slimes appear and this way you know which of the mined chunks are a slime chunk.
How to know if there is a slime chunk?
Now the fastest and easiest way to find a slime chunk is a website called chunkbase. On this page we just have to paste the seed of our world and it will return us the slime chunks. To use it just look at the following video.

Looking for slime with flying machines
This is one of my favorite options. The plan is simple, you go to a swamp on a full moon, kill slime and get enough slimeballs to make a flying machine that doubles TNT. With the duplicating machine of TNT multiple chunks are emptied automatically and you just wait for the slimes to appear. Look at the following video.
